my order came in today! i bought this handmade straw fedora hat and this nice graphic tshirt, both from the Gap. funny story about the shirt, because i bought it without any knowledge of who the artist was...i just thought it was really nice. but when i read the inscription on the inside of the shirt, i actually knew who the artist was! she's one of my old blog friends from Live Journal!!

her name is Fumi Mini Nakamura, but also goes by her art name: Miniature Mouse. i remember seeing some of her work in various art publications such as in Nylon magazine, but i was so surprised to see her artwork reach all the way to Gap tshirts! and now i can wear her around, isn't that crazy?!

here's a bigger view of the tshirt. i also just recently applied to work at the Gap. im getting tired of working at J.Crew and usually always shop at Gap more anyway...wish me luck! ;-P
